[基原]クスノキ科(Lauraceae)テンダイウヤクLindera strychnifolia Fernandez-Villarの根を乾燥したもの。

[成分]セスキテルペン（精油）：Linderane, Lindrene, Lindenenone, Lindestrene, Chamazureneなど、 モノテルペン：(+)-Borneolなど、アルカロイド：Laurolitsineなど。
[効能]健胃整腸、腸蠕動促進
[用法]腹痛、神経性胃炎、月経痛
